Wood River Valley Real Estate Newsletter- December 2025

While it is hard to remember a December start with so little snow, Sun Valley still managed to get open only about a week later than usual. December in the Wood River Valley is incredibly full of holiday cheer and events- see our calendar below for full details. In the meantime we will be doing our snow dance and enjoying the holiday season with our boys. Below you will also find the market stats and Windermere's Chief Economists housing predictions for 2026.

With each closing over the years we have we set aside funds for a local non-profit that we allocate at the end of the year. This year we donated to the St. Luke's Wood River Foundation (www.slwrf.org).  In 2025 we also decided to set funds aside for The Community Housing Fund and allocate those funds to the Blaine County Charitable Fund (www.blainecf.org).  We feel fortunate to live in a giving community that provides so many amazing resources to the public.  We are lucky that we can be a small part of the wonderful nonprofits established in the Wood River Valley through participation, volunteering and donating.

Last month we attended a 2 day class in Pocatello- it was great to learn more about ethics in real estate and meet fellow Idaho agents.
