What I'm...
📖 : I am almost done with The Memory Librarian and other Stories of Dirty Computer by Janelle Monáe. I listened to her Dirty Computer album quite a bit when she first released it. This writing brought new richness to the album for me. It's dystopian and futuristic and a reflection on the place of art and artists in society. All forms of art. And, thus... 👂 : Dirty Computer by Janelle Monáe has been on repeat for me this month. It is SO good. I was also playing a lot of Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nightsweats - jamming in prep for the concert this past month. And, I see that Caamp has a new album out! As of this writing I have not listened to it but that will be changing in the next few hours! 🎲 : Part of our birthday celebration for Dylan included some hangout time at Mox Boarding House for some snacks and game play. We checked Betrayal at House on the Hill out from their library and really enjoyed it. It's a game in two parts, really. The first part is cooperative and then in the second half one of your team betrays you. As we played, 2 different folks came up and shared how much they love the game. One even shared that in upwards of 20 times playing no two games had been the same!
