May Market Update

The numbers above are generally the same as last month, with a slight down-tick in the number of days on market. This is typically a busier time of year with more homes coming on the market and more sales, so seeing numbers that are similar means folks may be in a holding pattern of sorts.

If you are thinking of buying or selling, I strongly encourage you to connect with a local lender at the beginning of your process to strategize ways to help with affordability in this market.

Monthly reminder: These stats cover the entire Portland Metro area. Trends can vary widely by neighborhood and between condos, townhomes, and single-family homes. Let me know if you'd like more specific data for your search!

Maybe you have been over to Mann's on the Lake for dinner (many of us were anxiously awaiting the arrival of this update to an amazing spot right on the Bay), but Have you made time to enjoy dinner at Jewel Box Steak right on A Avenue?

A friend and I popped in for dinner before a concert recently and were delighted to with every aspect of our experience. From the ambience (elegant), to the service (attentive and kind), to the delicious food (perfection!) - everything was impeccable.

We shared the fennel and celery salad and each got a steak. Both were incredible. And, too much! We could have shared the steak and been content. Of course, we finished everything because, well, perfection!

Reservations are hard to come by, opening on the first of each month at 8:00 AM for the entire upcoming month! Never fear if you are a last minute person - they do have a limited number of walk-in spots available each night (typically on the earlier and later sides of the dinner hour).

Jewl Box is another fab restaurant in downtown LO - sharing the attention to detail and welcoming environment that we have come to love from its sister restaurants, Chuckie Pies and Casa Pequeña.
