As we approach Thanksgiving, I always find myself thinking about what I'm most thankful for: family, friends, good food, and the communities I get to call home. Around the table, it’s easy to fall back on the usual “what are you thankful for?” but this year, I thought it might be fun to mix things up:

• If you could invite any fictional character to Thanksgiving dinner, who would you pick?
  
• If your family hosted a Thanksgiving Olympics, what event would you dominate?
• If you could freeze one moment from this year and revisit it anytime, what moment would you choose?
• Where did you grow the most this year?
• What's one thing that made your life better this year, big or small?
  
• What's one small, silly thing that you're oddly grateful for?
  
• What's one thing you're thankful for this year that you wouldn't have said last year?
  
• What's something you're looking forward to in the next few months?
  

It’s amazing how questions like these can bring out stories, laughter, and a reminder of how much good there is to celebrate.

I hope your holiday season is full of connection, gratitude, and maybe even a few new memories shared around the table.

As Thanksgiving approaches, we’re thankful for this community, for the people who care about one another, the pace of life that encourages balance, and the natural beauty that surrounds us every day. Idaho continues to be a place we’re proud to call home.
