Last month, we saw a sudden pullback in pending sales, and those chickens came home to roost with fewer closed sales in May.

Many of these impacted closed sales originated from the weeks in April following Trump’s “Liberation Day”, when the stock market had dropped sharply, and a lot of buyers paused their home searches. Now, we saw the stock market fully recover by May, and while it’s still a little too early to tell, there are indications that the housing market is also getting back on track. 2025 Community Service Day Success!

Last Friday, our team rolled up their sleeves for Windermere’s 2025 Community Service Day in South Seattle. One group volunteered with our longtime partners at Wellspring Family Services, supporting their important work with local families. Meanwhile, the other group took to Rainier Ave with gloves, grabbers, and bags—cleaning up litter and helping keep the neighborhood looking its best.

Since 1984, Community Service Day has been a Windermere tradition—a chance to step away from our daily routines and give back to the communities we’re proud to be part of. Huge thanks to everyone who showed up and made a difference!
